What is the Lemont Area Chamber of Commerce?
An organization consisting of business owners, professionals, civic groups and community leaders from the greater Lemont area. The main focus of the Chamber is to promote the community and make it a better place to live, work, and conduct business. The Chamber works closely with other organizations and public officials to work towards these goals. Through the strength of its members, the Chamber is able to accomplish as a group what no member could individually.
A Board of Directors that is elected by the membership governs the Chamber. An administrator staffs the Chamber office full-time. This individual acts as an assistant to the different communities, handles the daily affairs for the Chamber, and acts as a liaison to the general public inquiring about the community and its businesses. The Chamber with your support can "ACCOMPLISH TOGETHER WHAT NO ONE BUSINESS CAN DO ALONE".
